Designed by Astromedia as a flashlight for night-time stargazers (since the red light does not interfere with night vision), this small red light LED is also ideal as a flashlight for the analog darkroom, or for light painting during long-exposure photography.
We tested them in our laboratory with black and white photo paper and could not detect any fogging even after 10 minutes of direct paper illumination, but if in doubt we recommend doing your own short test with the materials you are using.
Helpful for searching for materials in the darkroom using red light and for illuminating areas that the normal Duka lamp may not reach.
