The anti-static film cleaner works with an electronic bipolar ionization system. This direct current system generates positive and negative ions.
These neutralize all the charge carriers that the dirty film strip carries with it. Dust and lint are largely removed by the soft anti-static brushes. The fan does the rest, sucking dirt into the built-in filter. This means that all the contaminants remain in the device.

Care tips
- For regular maintenance, the ionization system can be folded out and cleaned with a cotton swab.
- If the surface is heavily soiled, the four anti-static brushes can be easily removed and washed out with a mild shampoo
- After washing, it is recommended to carefully comb out the fibres
- The antistatic properties of the brushes are not affected by cleaning
