This gives the brush a wonderful painting feel, allowing for very direct and fine work.
Instead of a metal ferrule, the short brush hairs are held by a cotton thread binding directly on the untreated wooden handle.
This is a great advantage, especially for analogue fine printing processes, whose chemistry can often react sensitively to metal contact.

Care instructions
Do not use hot water to clean the brush, otherwise the adhesive bond could come loose!
