Filmomat Light is a compact work platform for manual rotary development - at a very attractive price!
The Filmomat Light consists of a sturdy plastic tub into which a water jacket bath can be filled for temperature control, as well as a device for the automatic rotation of developing tanks.
The rotation device is compatible with a wide range of developing tanks from different manufacturers, such as JOBO (Systems 1500 and 2500), Paterson, AP and Kaiser, making the processor a great and relatively inexpensive addition to often existing laboratory equipment.
The rotation speed can be continuously adjusted from 20 to 99 rpm. The direction of rotation is reversed every seven revolutions to ensure maximum mixing of the chemicals. A powerful planetary gear motor ensures that even large tanks such as the Jobo Multitank 5 can be rotated without any problems.
The FIlmomat Light can be filled with water for temperature control. This makes C41 or E6 processes extremely easy to implement.
The processor does not have its own temperature control. An additional temperature control device, such as the Cinestill TCS-1000 or a Nova Novatronic Heater, is required. Alternatively, you can also use an aquarium heating rod or a sous-vide rod.
The device can optionally be ordered with an additional rotary motor so that two development runs can be carried out simultaneously.
Compatible developing tanks
Developing tanks from JOBO, Paterson, AP and other brands can be used.
Depending on the diameter of the developing tank used, the rotation speed must be adjusted according to the manufacturer's instructions.
There are special adapters for Paterson cans.
