Contact print / printmap marker

Pens for writing, marking and drawing image sections on contact sheets.

These special pens with wax-based lead write on all smooth surfaces, such as glass, metal, porcelain, plastic and also on the smooth surface of PE and baryta photo paper.

The markings are waterproof, but can be easily wiped off with a cloth, making them reversible.

Such pens have long been one of the most popular methods for writing on contact sheets to mark a selection or to draw in image sections. Examples of this can be found on almost every page of the book "Magnum - Contact Sheets".

application purposes

• The lighter and more colorful shades are particularly recommended for marking and drawing cutouts on contact sheets:
  white, yellow, red, green and blue
• For writing and drawing on white/light photo paper surfaces, e.g. for creating a "print map", the darker colours are particularly suitable, such as
  Blue, green, black and graphite, but also red.
