Creating analog black and white prints in the darkroom is the great passion of our founder Marc Stache, which ultimately led to the launch of Edition Argentum.
Therefore, your photos are developed exclusively by the boss himself, who gladly uses his many years of experience to achieve the best possible results.
We offer classic analog prints, developed in the darkroom, on high-quality silver gelatin baryta paper with a cardboard-thick paper base, or as a more affordable option, prints on black and white photographic paper with a PE plastic base.
For exhibitions, archives, and collections, baryta paper is always our recommendation due to its superior durability and image quality. However, for private photo series, photo albums, portfolios, etc., the more affordable and slightly thinner PE paper is often a good choice.
Photo paper used
Black and white PE paper:
Our standard photo paper with a PE plastic base is Ilford Multigrade V with a semi-matte surface (Pearl). Other surfaces are available upon request and at an additional cost.
Black and white baryta paper:
The prices quoted are based on the use of Ilford Multigrade Classic silver gelatin baryta paper. Other paper types, such as Ilford Multigrade Warmtone, Foma, or Bergger, are available upon request.
Since paper prices vary considerably, please contact us for a personalized quote.

The subsequent processing in the darkroom is then carried out just like with a conventional negative. If you are interested, please send us a message for a personalized quote.
