Remaining stock batch 06/2024, plastic of the bottles is already a bit darker in color, but works.
Sharpness-enhancing and, when diluted accordingly, balancing developer as a liquid concentrate.
FX-39 II is a modern alternative to the popular Rodinal developer, but without hazardous substances.
The compensating effect can be excellently controlled over a very wide range by dilution and can be precisely adjusted to the subject contrast and film type used.
FX-39 has been significantly improved in the shelf life of the concentrate by ADOX and production now takes place at ADOX in Switzerland.
The new Type II is more durable than Type I with the same development times.
Information on the disposal of photo chemicals can be found in the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), which you can download above or find on the respective manufacturer's website.
Technical data
- either 500ml or 100ml developer concentrate.
- Standard dilution: 1+9 “one-shot” application (single developer).
- High dilution: 1+19 “one-shot” application (single-shot developer) to increase the compensating ability while extending the development time by 75%.
This reduces sensitivity utilization somewhat. So, within limits, you can trade sensitivity for compensating power.
Tipping rhythm:
Tilt continuously for the first 30 seconds, then gently tilt for the first 10 seconds of each minute.
