Stop bath interrupts the development process and neutralizes the developer, so that acidic fixers, such as our ADOX Adofix Plus, are not de-acidified by carry-over and become ineffective.
ADOSTOP, based on citric acid and with an indicator, is the premium form of stop bath. It is odorless or at most pleasantly citrus-fresh and indicates when it is exhausted by changing color from yellow to blue-violet.
In film and paper development, ADOSTOP helps to work precisely by immediately interrupting
the development process.
ADOX ADOSTOP ECO was designed with the aim of avoiding hazardous substances and is characterized by the following properties:
- Pure citric acid as a base (no acetic acid content)
- Without biocide
- Water-soluble indicator without solvents
- almost odorless
The dilution remains at 1+19. Capacity: At least 3sqm/liter working solution.
Shelf life of the concentrate: 24 months from production date.
Shelf life of the working solution: Recommended: 1-2 weeks.
