Notes on Production and Color
In the production of this archival board, a mixture of new and recycled paper fibers is used.
The result is an archival board of high quality and at the same time a very economical price thanks to sustainable production.
However, due to the manufacturing process, the color of the board can vary slightly, sometimes appearing more blue-grey, sometimes more reddish-grey, depending on the batch.
Also, the surface of the board, as is often seen with recycled papers, may be somewhat uneven and contain inclusions of different paper types.
DIY or already assembled?
In addition to an already assembled version, we also offer a DIY option.
This second option is available in practical packs of 5 and can be offered at a more affordable price.
Folding the archival boxes is relatively simple and self-explanatory.
If in doubt, it can be helpful to order an already assembled box as a sample.
Assembly Tips
- First, remove all detachable cardboard pieces by pushing them out. This is easiest to do towards the inside.
- Before folding and assembling the box, pre-fold the cardboard along all edges.
- Assembly is possible without tools, but for simplification, we recommend using cotton gloves, as well as possibly a bone folder for easier folding.
