Notes on production and colour
A mix of new and recycled paper fibers is used to produce this archival board.
The result is an archival cardboard of high quality and at the same time very economical price thanks to sustainable production.
However, due to the manufacturing process, the color of the box can vary slightly and, depending on the batch, is sometimes a little more blue-gray, sometimes a little more reddish-gray.
Also, as is often the case with recycled paper, the cardboard surface may be somewhat irregular and contain inclusions of different types of paper .
DIY or already assembled?
In addition to a version that has already been assembled for you, we also offer an option for you to assemble it yourself.
This second variant is available in practical packages of 5 and can be offered at a correspondingly lower price.
Folding the archive boxes is relatively simple and self-explanatory.
If in doubt, it can be helpful to order an already assembled box as a model.
Construction tips
- First, remove all removable pieces of cardboard by pushing them out. This is easiest towards the inside.
- Before folding and assembling the box, pre-fold the cardboard once on all edges.
- The assembly is also possible without any tools; to simplify the process, we recommend using cotton gloves and possibly a bone folder to make folding easier.
