Cyanotype Tannin Toner

Cyanotypes are generally famous for their deep blue colors.

But it is also possible to alter them afterwards.

With the help of our Cyanotype Toner, you can tint your images brownish.

Note: The effect is strongest if you first treat your cyanotypes with our Flic Film Cyanotype Bleach. This will achieve dark brown image tones.

Contents: 50g powder

Application

Dissolve 16g (approx. 4 teaspoons) in water.

Place the image in the toner and move it regularly.
Once the image has reached the desired color, remove it, rinse briefly, and dry.

The toner solution can be reused, but it will become weaker over time and thus take longer.
